How To Celebrate St Patrick’s Day This Year

March 17th is just around the corner and that only means one thing, St Patrick’s Day celebrations are in order!

How To Celebrate St Patrick’s Day This Year

Although things look a little different this year and your usual pub crawl with your girls will have to wait for now, don’t be disheartened. There’s still plenty of ways to celebrate St Paddy’s Day from home this year and we’re here to share them with you.

Have A Virtual Celebration

Let’s start with the most obvious answer for how to celebrate literally anything in a pandemic and that’s on Zoom. Connect with family or friends and cheers to St Patrick’s Day 2021 (virtually!). Keep things interesting and take part in a fun St Paddy’s themed quiz or compete for best dressed in all green outfits fit for the occasion.

Get Baking

It’s time to put all those baking supplies purchased in the first lockdown to good use and get ready for a great Irish bake-off. Let’s swap out the banana bread for a traditional Irish soda bread. Or if you fancy something sweeter, try making your very own shamrock cookies with green icing topped with edible glitter because who doesn’t love edible glitter?

Decorate Your Space

Since we’ve been stuck at home for what feels like forever, why not spruce up your space with some St Patrick’s Day decorations? From shamrock bunting and Irish flags to green balloons and a pot o’ gold, go all out with the décor and try out some fun DIY St Patrick’s Day decorations.

Green Queen

Dress for the occasion with a head-to-toe green outfit and get that all important pic for the gram. Check out our St Patrick’s Day Outfits for all the inspo that will turn heads and make them green with envy. Green is IN this season too, so there’s no better time to get in the St Paddy’s Day spirit with a killer green outfit.

Cook Up A Storm

Be the hostess with the mostest for the night and cook a traditional Irish beef stew this St Patrick’s Day. If you’re no Gordon Ramsey there’s no need to stress babe, this one’s easy we promise. Find an Irish stew recipe made for the slow cooker and let it do all the work. *chefs kiss*

Shake It Up

Drink like the Irish and create some fun St Paddy’s inspired cocktails. Check out these cocktail ideas or get creative and come up with your own. If you don’t fancy being a mixologist for the night, keep it simple and pour yourself a pint of Guinness.
