Yoga
With life as we know it being super uncertain right now and all the stress and anxiety surrounding us, a dose of yoga is well and truly needed. Step Ups
An easy go-to for any beginners out there, using the stairs or a low bench that is sturdy enough to take your weight, step up with one foot, bring the other up stand up on the step. Step backwards using the same leg. Repeat on the other side. And there you have it. Try to go as fast as you can to challenge yourself and do as many reps of this as you can take.
Weighted Lunges
Adding a bit of weight to your workouts can make all the difference. If you don’t have the right equipment, two tins of beans will do. Stand holding the weight in your right hand next to your shoulder, with your arm bent. With your left foot, step backward into a reverse lunge and lower your body until your back knee almost touches the floor. Push yourself back to the starting position and repeat.
