Your Transitional Wardrobe Essentials

Unpredictable weather season is here and if you’ve found yourself feeling like you’re incapable of dressing appropriately for this in-between weather, don’t panic. We know there’s nothing worse than wearing 3 layers of polyester, a wool coat, hat and gloves on a sunny spring day.

YOUR TRANSITIONAL WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

So, to save you all from sweating (or freezing) to death, we have searched our site for essentials your wardrobe needs this season.

#1 Keep it bright

So, you might have to stick with your chunky jumpers and oversized coats for a little while longer. But giving your outerwear a colourful touch is the perfect way to welcome spring. Ditch your darks for candy coloured coats and neon sweats. Make your bold hue piece the main attraction or go for a head-to-toe monochrome look.

#2 Show some skin

As the weather starts to warm up the best way to tackle the heat is by showing a little bit of skin. It might be a cold shock when you first leave the house but as the day goes on you’ll thank us for this tip. Swap your pants for a feminine floaty midi skirt or a pair of cycle shorts for a retro vibe.

#3 Spring shoe saviours

As it’s too early for sliders and sandals, mules are the perfect replacement. Whether you’re looking for something with a little height or the must-have faux fur slipper mule, these half shoe half slider are a spring essential. Or give your knitwear a seriously chic edge with a pair of OTK boots. To give your SS look an update, just add animal print.

#4 Wear your whites

If you’re going to layer up, do it in white. A full white look is perfect for giving the summer loving illusion even you’re fully wrapped up. Maybe hold off on the fake tan for a while though if you’re going to go for a head to toe crisp white combo.
