Today we’re catching up with PLT Society member James to talk all things personal style and autumn fashion trends.
Hey James, could you start by telling us a little bit about yourself and your role here at PrettyLittleThing?
Hi, my name is James and I’m the Catering & Hospitality Front of House Supervisor.
In short, I’m responsible for maintaining operational standards for the catering and hospitality services throughout across three sites in Manchester.
You also may have seen me making silly TikTok’s on the PLT TikTok page & hosting TikTok lives alongside my colleagues.
How would you describe your personal style?
I’d describe my style as very trend focused whilst remaining cohesive.
I’m a huge fan of colour so you’d rarely see me in an all black outfit.
Where do you tend to take outfit inspo from?
Pinterest! I feel like people don’t use Pinterest to their full potential; I love building inspiration boards for holidays and events I have coming up.
Are there any social or fashion trends you’re loving right now?
Recently I’ve been loving the trend of wrapping scarves around your waist, I love how it can give another layer of texture and colour to your outfit so effortlessly.
What would be your 3 top fashion picks for AW25?
For my fashion picks I’d say to expect to see a lot of suede pieces. With autumn in full swing, I think it’s the season where suede jackets & co-ords thrive and PrettyLittleThing already have some amazing options onsite.
Whilst on the topic of jackets I also expect to see a huge faux fur takeover, I feel every year everyone’s eyes are peeled to see what brand will have the viral faux fur jacket of the year. Not to be biased but I have had my eyes on PLT’s entry – this gorgeous cream oversized faux fur coat.
My final trend prediction would be capes, both as a dress or jacket.
I love how they are an elegant way of adding layers to your outfit without feeling too bulky.
