What to Wear in New York at Christmas

 

The city that never sleeps and home to the famous Rockefeller, New York is definitely a bucket list destination, especially at Christmas time.

If you’re lucky enough to be heading there this magical time of year, we’ve got you covered on what to pack to keep snug and enjoy every second of your trip.

 

Coats & Jackets

Don’t underestimate winter in New York, one day it could be icy and other days could be milder. Our advice is to take, one teddy coat to keep you super snug at the Christmas markets, one puffer jacket for the milder days, one faux fur coat to gain you style points whilst keeping warm and a leather jacket for an extra layer when you need it. You’ll need to pack lots of coats and jackets, because doll, it’s about to get very cold up in New York City.

 

 

Knitwear

Jumpers, cardigans, jumper dresses, you name it! Knits are essential for New York in winter, from oversized jumpers to shaggy cardigans, we have everything you need to layer up and keep warm this Christmas. Or if you’re feeling extra festive we have Christmas jumpers for every day of the week! Pair your knits with jeans or some thick leggings and you’re winter ready.

Keep your tootsies warm whilst looking absolute goals in our winter shoes. Boots are a must-buy when you’re heading to New York City, whether it be knee-high boots, biker boots or heeled boots, these bad boys are just what you need to gain those all-important style points and keep warm all at the same time. An outfit is never complete without accessories and these are really the make or break to your New York winter outfits. With the right hat, scarf, and gloves you can get away with wearing just about anything. We recommend taking the biggest, most oversized scarf you can find to keep all the warmth in, a cute knit beanie hat to ensure your ears are covered from the cold and some chunky knit mittens or gloves.
