The best thing about New Year’s Eve is the New Year’s resolutions we all make. Whether your goal is small or a massive life-changing decision, making a resolution is what celebrating the New Year’s about. Even if you don’t stick to them, it’s still fun trying to fool yourself that you’re going to be a better person this year.
PLT Staff Talk New Year Resolutions For 2019
To lift the spirits st PLT HQ and help beat the January blues, we’ve asked some PLT staff what their resolutions are this year.
“I don’t really believe in New Year’s resolutions, because you can start a healthy habit and give it up three days later any time of year.”
“To become as fat as I was the first time that I ever said I was fat.”
“My grandparents had resolutions like donating to charities and volunteering to help others. I’ve decided to make my own coffee once a week.”
“My New Years resolution is to start caring more about my own love life instead of celebrities.”
“Find a type of exercise I actually enjoy and aim to do it at least twice a week. I’m thinking running because it’s free and I feel it’s much less soul-destroying than the gym.”
“Be a nicer person and to actually start sharing a share bag of Doritos.”
“My New Years resolution is to actually use my gym membership more than once a month.”
“Every year I say I’m not going to make the same mistakes as I did the year before, this year I really mean it.”
“To not use my pet dog as an excuse to get out of plans, because my friends are starting to dislike her and the guilt is killing me.”
“You don’t need a New Year’s resolution when you’re perfect.”
“My New Years resolution is to remember to check clothes before I put them in the washer/dryer. Having to fish out grips and lip balms every week is getting boring now.”
Happy New Year dolls!
