Q&A With Marilyn Melo

 

Our girl has dropped the ultimate edit of PLT shape to help you dress your curves the right way. Adorn your form in everything from curve clinging co-ords you can mix and match, barely-there dresses that were made to turn heads and those easy to wear separates for whatever. These ‘fits are a serious new season mood.

 

We caught up with Marilyn to ask all about her PLT pieces, as well as styling tips and wardrobe must-haves.

 

 

Hey Marilyn!

Could you start by sharing abit about your career and how everything got started for you?

I was discovered at a Del Frescos by the owner of “Rainbow” who had just started his own online store. It was during 2016 and although he had a lot of stores, he was heading online and needed a model. Everything just escalated from there really.

 

If you were to describe your style in three words, what would they be?

Chic. Sexy. Street.

 

 

What was your inspo behind the edit?

I was heavily inspired by the early 00’s with the denim looks and 90’s with the body structures and prints.

I really wanted to create a collection that served hot girl summer vibes!

 

The photoshoot looks incredible, how did you find shooting the campaign in the desert?

It was HOT! But the team made it very effortless and easy for me.
