It’s Chrissssssstmasssss!
Its the perfect time of year to snuggle up to your favourite feel-good Christmas films and we have the ultimate list to remind you of some yuletide gems.
The Best Festive Movies To Watch This Christmas
These movies sleigh so crank up the heating and get ready to feel festive.
Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
This holiday classic reminds us all to have a little Christmas faith – because anything can happen. The screenplay is by John Hughes who also did Home Alone so you just know it’s going to be Christmassy and great. It’s got everything you want from a festive film including a live reindeer and the actual Santa Claus. Best believe!
Elf
Does Elf even need an introduction? If you don’t know it then you’re a cotton headed ninny muggins. There are so many quotable one-liners in Elf that they will keep you going all the way until January 31st.
“You have such a pretty face, you should be on a Christmas card.” Buddy
He’s right, I do.
The Holiday
A romantic comedy with very aesthetically pleasing people which makes you go awwwwww. It’s a modern day love story that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy. But perhaps also a bit envious of their lifestyles.
We’re sure its easier to find love if you own a villa in Los Angeles but we can all dream it could happen to us even if we are in our mum’s box room in Birmingham *sigh*.
The Grinch (2000)
Sometimes all the fun and Christmas warmth is just TOO much so relish in The Grinch who hates Christmas.
It’s hilarious and clever with a message at its core. Brilliant!
Sex & The City The Movie
Ok, we know this isn’t technically a Christmas movie. BUT it’s got girlfriends, boy problems and is filmed in the most Christmassy place outside the North Pole – New York! It’s a great holiday season watch so enjoy!
