To celebrate International Women’s Day, we got in touch with some of our favourite influencers who are spreading good vibes across their platforms to talk about who inspires them, their passion and what International Women’s Day means to them. Here, we’re catching up with Felicity Hayward, plus size model, founder of @self.love.brings.beauty and official @TEDx speaker.
“There are no two humans on this planet that are the same, so aspire to be the best version of yourself, not someone else.”

#1 Three females who inspire you and why?
My grandmother Sybil for always teaching me to be unapologetically myself.
Anna Nicole Smith, she really was a powerhouse who just wanted well for her children, despite her troubles.
Anna Shillinglaw, founder of MiLK Management. A friend and my agent who has created an inclusive movement within the UK’s modelling industry and makes you feel like you’re part of her family.
#2 What are you most proud of?
Starting up my movement #SelfLoveBringsBeauty and seeing how many people it has helped with their own confidence. It’s beautiful to watch.
#3 Whose advice do you always listen to?
I’m addicted to co – star and horoscopes and have the app for them daily. Sometimes I wait till midnight to see the advice and outlook for the next day.
#4 What’s a typical working day for you?
Honestly, it’s so varied. Some days will be spent in pjs planning, another running around town like a lunatic trying to be on time for fittings and castings and another last minute packing before jumping on a flight.
#5 What do you enjoy most about your career?
Travelling, meeting new people and experiencing things I might have never dared to do.
#6 What motivates you?
LOVE and COMPASSION.
#7 What advice would you give to your younger self?
There are no two humans on this planet that are the same, so aspire to be the best version of yourself, not someone else.
#8 What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
A day to fully appreciated the power of what it means to be a WOMAN and how special we really are.
