On that new year, new improved you hype? To kickstart our January health kick we’ve been catching up with some of our fave fitness influencers on the ‘Gram to talk all things fitness and health for the new year.

We caught up with Summer Lynn Hart to talk why fitness is so important to her, what song always makes her go hard at the gym and booty gains.

 

What does a typical week in workouts look like to you?

I workout 6 days a week! I am sure to take a rest day on the 7th day. I love the gym… it’s my escape. I work out different parts of my body on different days. I normally plan out my workouts prior to going to the gym.. so that way I don’t waste time.

 

How do you stay motivated when working out is the last thing you wanna do?

My dad just received two liver transplants and has been in the hospital for 3 months. I was with him for a month of his time in the hospital. Seeing how sick he was and the people around him really made me count my blessings. You will rarely hear me complain. I’m extremely thankful for all that my body can do.

 

What’s one song you always need on your workout playlist?

I love rap/hip hop music it always pumps me up. “Wild for the night” by A$AP Rocky… that song makes me go hard on the gym.

 

 

What’s your typical workout look?

I love to look cute at the gym. I coordinate my outfits…. shoes must match and everything. I go to the gym 6 days a week so over half my wardrobe is workout outfits. I rock a ponytail or bun always.

 

What foods are always in your kitchen?

I am type one diabetic so food is super important to me. I eat plant-based & gluten-free. You’ll find a lot of fresh fruits and smoothie ingredients. I also always have french fries & coconut milk ice cream ready to go.

What fitness resolutions or goals do you have for the New Year?

I always have the same goal of just giving it my all. I also am planning on showing others the type of workouts I do at the gym so be sure to keep up with me on Instagram @summerlynnhart

 

Is there any fitness classes or workouts that are on your 2019 hitlist to try?

Always working the booty! All about the booty gains.

 

What motivational mantra will you be living by for 2019?

I already put the word “prosperity” in the middle of my vision board for 2019. That is going to be my word this year. I believe I can have anything I put my all into.
