Self-Isolation Self Care Tips
Feeling anxious? Feeling bored? We got you gal and we’re all in this together.
Whether you’re social distancing or stuck in self-isolation, this can be really hard to deal with but it’s totally normal to feel a bit under the weather. Here’s a few little tips we’ve put together for you to look after your wellbeing during this time.
#1 SET YOURSELF A DAILY SCHEDULE
Sometimes all it takes is a bit of normality and structure to reach that inner zen. Take a moment to think about your day and what goals you’d like to achieve. Maybe even do some household activities you usually didn’t have the time for and release your inner Beyonce.
#2 KEEP MOVING
Although you really can’t beat a day in bed spent in your comfies with a 100 step count to the fridge, don’t let this become your everyday routine. Get your endorphins flowing with a quick little home workout. Get those soup cans pumping in the air or walk up and down the stairs. Be creative and see what you come up with. But you’ll soon be feeling bomb AF.
#3 STAY POSITIVE
Staying calm and relaxed may be hard to think about right now. But maybe reflect on some goals you’ve smashed this year or what you’re grateful for. Write down three positive things about your life every night before going to sleep and reflect on these when you wake up in the morning.
#4 TREATÂ YO’SELF
Retail shopping is good for the soul – wanted that cute top you saw online? Get it. Ever wanted to try yoga? Try it. Whether it’s taking a bath, online shopping, reading a book or listening to your favorite music treat yo’self to something you love to do.
#5 BE PATIENT
If you’re feeling a bit trapped being stuck inside with your fam or roomies it can be difficult at times. If you need a break – there’s plenty of series to binge watch on Netflix or online games. However, remember to respect each other and be kind. Call your dolls so they know they’ve got you (and catch up on all the goss…)
