If you’ve ever packed for a girls weekend, you know the stress – let alone a whole semester away from home!
But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. From lectures, to uni socials to chilling around the house with your new housemates, here’s the ultimate checklist of student wardrobe essentials.
1. Bodysuits
If you’re just about to start university or college, bodysuits will be your very best friend.
Perfect for dressing up for a night out with friends, but casual enough to pair with your favourite skirt or bottoms for a morning lecture.
We recommend a basic black bodysuit to get you started. A classic go-to is the Basic Black Slinky Racer Bodysuit.
Remember you can always swap out your short sleeve bodies for a long sleeve layer between seasons!
2. Loungewear Set
Just rolled out of bed ten minutes before your 9am lecture? Throw on a matching jogger set, and no one will be any the wiser!
A pair of joggers and a matching sweat is the ultimate lazy girl go-to fit – and the best part is, you’ll still look effortlessly put together while feeling like you’ve not even changed out of your pj’s!
3. Sweaters & Jumpers
It may be summer now, but winter is just around the corner. Which means you’ll need a rotation of thrown-on sweatshirts and jumpers that you can pull on without thinking.
Comfort is key, but you also need to think about warmth – especially in the cooler months.
FYI – Uni houses can be cold, COLD places in winter. Getting undressed can feel like an extreme sport.
So, save yourself the frostbite and have a full stock in of thick jumpers and winter warmers ready for action.
4. A fun pair of trousers
A fun pair of trousers can spice up any night out or house party fit with friends!
Cargos are all the rage right now (and most likely for the foreseeable future!).
Pair with your fav corset or crop top for instant cool girl vibes.
5. An everyday jacket or coat
Don’t forget to grab a staple jacket to chuck on day to day.
A lightweight waterproof puffer is always a good option for keeping dry but not too warm during September showers.
You can opt for any colour you like, but sometimes a neutral can be the best option if you don’t want to worry about clashing colours.
We’re obsessing over the Black Basic Cropped Toggle Hem Puffer.
